(The food pantries are very low on non perishable items.)

As of July, 2007 we have donated over $26,000.00 to Local Charities and collected over 1600 lbs. of food for CHOW.

Jan. – July   #’s of food collected was 677 lbs.
August – 91 lbs.                     Goal was 115 lbs.
September – 92 lbs.               Goal was 120 lbs.
October – 133 lbs.                  Goal was 125 lbs.

Thank you for your Chow Donations. We beat our October Goal of 125 lbs by 8 lbs (133 lbs). Our November Goal is 130 lbs. Let’s give together to help others. Thank You, Thank You, Gabe

      1         (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
¾   cup lemon juice
1         cup whipping cream, whipped
1 ½ cups coarsely crushed gingersnap
cookie crumbs
Garnish: 6 Gingersnap cookies, 6 lemon rind twists

Pour sweetened condensed milk into a bowl. Gradually add lemon juice, stirring until blended. Fold whipped cream into lemon mixture.

Layer crushed cookies and lemon mixture in one cup parfait glasses, ending with lemon mixture. Cover and chill at least two hours. Garnish with gingersnap cookies and lemon rind twists.

Children’s Home Coat/Toy Drive Bring Coats, hats, sweats, misc. winter items and Toys, NEW or LIKE NEW, to the Nov. Meeting. If items need to be picked up, Call Gabe 607-723-0656. If you forgot to bring your gift item to the November Meeting, please call Gabe for pick up.
